Henry H. Kaufmann Memorial Scholarship
The Henry H. Kaufmann Memorial Scholarship, named in honor of GEAPS’ 1975-76 president, is designed to provide financial support for grain industry professionals interested in eliminating language barriers in the workplace by learning or developing greater fluency in a second language. Full-time college students who are looking to enter the grain industry are also encouraged to apply.
Consideration will be given to applicants who want to develop their second language skills through cultural immersion opportunities. This scholarship can be used to pay for tuition, books, fees, and other educational expenses associated with second language learning at accredited institutions.
Applications are accepted each spring and awarded each summer. Selection criteria may include the candidate’s commitment to career goals and the case made by the candidate for the proposed course of study.
Harold Reese Memorial Scholarship
The Harold Reese Memorial Scholarship is open to industry professionals and students. This scholarship provides financial assistance to participants in the GEAPS distance education program, and to students at other schools studying grain-related fields.
The scholarship is named after Harold Reese who served as GEAPS’ president 1995-96.
Applications are accepted each spring and awarded each summer. Scholarships will awarded based on qualifications and paid directly to educational institutions accredited by the United States Department of Education. They may only be used for tuition and books.
