Research Assistant Professor and Outreach Coordinator
Central States Center for Agricultural Safety and Health at the University of Nebraska Medical Center
Ellen Duysen, MPH, COHC, is a Research Assistant Professor and Outreach Coordinator at the Central States Center for Agricultural Safety and Health at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In her role, she oversees research, outreach, and training initiatives across a seven-state region, collaborating closely with industry partners. Ellen’s research focuses on hearing conservation for agricultural workers, and she holds the certification of Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist (COHC). With years of hands-on experience in farming and livestock management, Ellen gained firsthand insight into occupational hearing loss while working alongside her family on their hog and cattle farm.
